| Rhodia to Close Venezuela Factory |

Rhodia Acetow will cease its acetate filter tow manufacturing operations in Valencia, Venezuela.
The facility, which employs about 120 people, will be closed by the end of 2010. The move is part of Rhodia Acetow's cost optimization program, which aims to enhance the company's competitiveness worldwide.
With a global market share of 18 percent Rhodia Acetow is the third -largest producer of cellulose acetate tow , with facilities in Europe, Russia, United States, Brazil and Venezuela. Enditem |
