Cigar Insider Rates Cuba's Thickest Romeo
Source from:Cigar Aficionado  07/28/2010
The new Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill is the thickest Romeo y Julieta size in the Cuban cigar portfolio, and Cigar Insider has rated the hefty size in today's issue. The cigar measures 5 1/8 inches long by 55 ring gauge and will be part of the official Romeo production line.

Habanos S.A., the distributor of Cuba's cigar brands, noted in a release that the Wide Churchill follows the 2006 release of the Romeo Short Churchill, a 4 7/8 by 50 cigar that has been a "very successful" launch.

While some call the new, swollen Romeo a robusto, it is technically a montesco in Cuban cigar factories. The Wide Churchill comes packaged in boxes of 10 cigars, boxes of 25, or in three-packs with tubos. Each cigar will bear the recently redesigned Romeo y Julieta band along with a secondary gold band that reads "Wide Churchills." Enditem
