| National Conference of State Legislators Pays Attenion to Ky. Smoking Cessation Program |

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A smoking cessation program just approved for Kentucky Medicaid recipients is getting attention from at the National Conference of State Legislators meeting in Louisville. The American Lung Association says Kentucky will become one of only six states that provide the benefit, and the association says more states should under new federal guidelines.
The Kentucky General Assembly appropriated funding a comprehensive Medicaid smoking cessation program during last year's session. The program will be implemented at the end of this year. Enditem |
